Swedish Royal Roundup.

On Monday, April 28, Queen Silvia attended Silviahemmet Big Inspiration in Stockholm. Silviahemmet invites each year to get inspiration for those who work with the person with dementia.

During the event the latest medical research of dementia were presented by researcher Bengt Winblad. During the day, the Silviahemmet Research and Education Scholarship was awarded to the 2013 best dementia team in home care as well as the newly established prize "Queen Silvia Nursing Award" out.
On Tuesday, April 29, King Carl Gustaf held a farewell audience at the Royal Palace for Horacio del Valle, Ambassador of Chile, and Valerii Stepanov, Ambassador of Ukraine.

When an ambassador assumes his position in Sweden, he or she is received by the King at a solemn audience. When the ambassador is returning home, a similar meeting takes place, but slightly less formal.
