Prince Joachim as a patron of the training ship DANMARK attended on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 a tour boat from Vedbaek to Copenhagen. On board the training ship DANMARK, school pupils showed Prince Joachim around the ship.

Training Ship DENMARK was built on Nakskov Shipyard in 1933. The ship is made of steel and has 3 fuldriggede master who can lead a total of 27 sailors. There are 80 students on board the ship and 15 crew members. Students live on the ship's two Banjer where they sleep, eat and get training.
