On Thursday July 31, the King attended a fishing seminar in Hemavan. The purpose was to discuss the development of fisheries management, sustainable fisheries and tourism in Västerbotten's mountains. Today's meeting has been very interesting. The research project is long term and the issues of sustainable fishing and angling tourism is not only present here in Västerbotten, but also applicable in Sweden. With proper management it is possible to both increase the supply of fish and create new jobs, said the King.
