King Carl Gustaf presents the Export Award.

On Wednesday, May 7th, King Carl Gustaf presented the Export Award at Stockholm's City Hall.

The Export Award is given every year and the aim is to recognize successful Swedish export companies. In addition to a cash prize, the winner also wins a specially designed sculpture by Bertil Vallien from Orrefors Kosta Boda. 

After the king had the opportunity to speak with representatives from the nominees, the awards ceremony began with a speech by Ylva Berg, CEO of Business Sweden, Jonas Hafstrom, Trade, counselor in promoting issues and Jens Spendrup, president of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.
