Wearing a black and red exercise and neon colored shoes Crown Prince Frederik showed up this morning at Korsør Athletics Stadium, where 400 pupils, journalists and photographers were waiting for him.

I 'll just give you three sentences from the Olympic spirit: You must make the best you can. You must respect each other, and you shall receive friendships. It's great for the sport, said the Crown Prince. I brought some clothes on, so we can warm up together.

Crown Princess Victoria at the Nordic Museum.

Today The Crown Princess visited the Nordic Museum and Skansen Friends årssammankomst which took place at the Nordic Museum. The Crown Princess is a member and first Honorary Member of the Skansen Friends since 1997.

After the annual general meeting Crown Princess Victoria awarded bursaries from Skansen Friends. Eva Haakanen, Nordic Museum, received a scholarship for a trip to Helsinki and Turku to compare warehousing issues in their museums with similar collections, the Nordic Museum.

Prince Henrik, Crown Prince Frederik, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella in Esrum.

Prince Henrik along with Crown Prince Frederik , Princess Isabella and Prince Christian attended this year's opening of the boat service on Lake Esrum by Skipperhuset at Fredensborg Palace. It writes Frederiksborg County newspaper.

For this year, Prince Henrik , who tends to be a host at the event, meet up with Crown Prince Frederik met and his children, Isabella and Christian, who of course were equipped with life jackets before heading across Denmark's second largest lake.

- One can not overestimate the importance of the Royal Family's local involvement, said Mayor Thomas Lykke Pedersen, among other things in his speech.

City and Port have been responsible for the construction of the new cruise terminal, which is 1,100 meters long and can accommodate up to three large cruise ships at a time.

Crown Prince Haakon in Stockholm.

HRH Crown Prince Haakon attended the seminar and concert at the Royal Palace in Stockholm on the occasion of the creation of the Norwegian Constitution in 1814 and 200 years of peace between the Nordic countries. The Swedish King and Queen, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Princess Christina also attended the historic Seminary at the Bernadotte Library and a concert where "Requiem for King Carl Johan" was performed.

On his speech at the conclusion of the seminar, Crown Prince Haakon remarked the strong ties between Norway and Sweden:
Norway and Sweden are very close to each other, and the historical ties are incredibly strong. Today, we work well in all areas - and we aim to further develop this cooperation.
The Crown Prince also drew attention to how what happened 200 years ago helped to shape the current two nations:
In Norway, the year 1814 marked the entrance of independence as a nation. And the King said; for Sweden was the start of a period of uninterrupted peace that still lasts. Union bound our countries together, but not stronger than that it was possible to dissolve it in a peaceful way without it coming to war-91 years after it was signed,said the Crown Prince.

Prince Henrik's 5th Birthday.

 Tillykke! Today is Prince Henrik of Denmark's 5th birthday! And to celebrate, the Royal Court has released three photos.
Prince Henrik was born at the Rigshospitalet weighing 3032 grams and 49 cm long. As with his brothers and cousins, his names were not revealed until his christening, which took place on 26 July 2009 at the Møgeltønder Church, where older brother Felix was also christened. At his christening he was named Henrik Carl Joachim Alain after his paternal grandfather; his father and his maternal grandfather. Henrik's second name, Carl, is possibly after his last surviving great-granduncle, Count Carl Johan Bernadotte, who attended his christening.
His godparents are Crown Princess Mary, Britt Davidsen Siesbye, Christian Scherfig and his maternal uncles Charles Cavallier and Benjamin Grandet.

Princess Benedikte recieves medal and portait.

Today, Princess Benedikte recieved the Medal of the Order of the Dannebrog from the Queen in recognition of the Princess' long-standing efforts to Denmark.

The royal couple received Fredensborg city's torchlight in the inner palace yard on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Upon the receipt Fredensborg's Mayor Thomas Lykke Pedersen held a welcome speech to the Royal Couple.

Each year, on the first residence transfer to Fredensborg, Fredensborg Trade & Crafts Association organizes together with the local scouts a torchlight procession from Fredensborg Station to Fredensborg Palace.

Prince Henrik recieves the first potatoes.

Prince Henrik received on Wednesday, April 30 the first Danish potatoes. The potatoes were presented by the chairman of the Danish Kartoffelråd Britta Schall Holberg, the Potato Council founder Jørn Larsen, the CEO of the potato Company Viggo Nørtoft and postman in Odense Carsten Kjær.

It is a tradition that the winning potatoes from DM Cultivation of outdoor potatoes are transferred to Post Denmark that bring the potatoes to the Crown. DM Cultivation of outdoor potatoes is hosted by Denmark Kartoffelråd.

Swedish Royal Roundup.

On Monday, April 28, Queen Silvia attended Silviahemmet Big Inspiration in Stockholm. Silviahemmet invites each year to get inspiration for those who work with the person with dementia.

During the event the latest medical research of dementia were presented by researcher Bengt Winblad. During the day, the Silviahemmet Research and Education Scholarship was awarded to the 2013 best dementia team in home care as well as the newly established prize "Queen Silvia Nursing Award" out.
On Tuesday, April 29, King Carl Gustaf held a farewell audience at the Royal Palace for Horacio del Valle, Ambassador of Chile, and Valerii Stepanov, Ambassador of Ukraine.

When an ambassador assumes his position in Sweden, he or she is received by the King at a solemn audience. When the ambassador is returning home, a similar meeting takes place, but slightly less formal.

Prince Daniel in Västerås.

On Monday, April 28 Prince Daniel visited ABB in Västerås.

The prince was greeted by ABB Sweden CEO Johan Söderström and got information about the Division Process Automation business. Subsequently the Prince was given a demonstration of including the control system 800xA and a crane system.

After Process of Automation, the Prince visited the Discrete Automation & Motion and Machines Unit where Prince got the details on how ABB is working with higher productivity and a walking tour of the manufacturing of rotating machines.

Save a Mother's Life on Mother's Day.


On Monday, April 28, 2014 the Maternity Foundation started their annual campaign 'Save a Mother's Life on Mother's Day' at an event at the Danish Design Centre in the presence of Crown Princess Mary, Trade and Development Minister Mogens Jensen, the director of the Women Deliver Katja Iversen and MSD Denmark country Director Anita Bruhin.

Sunday May 11th is Mother's Day. In preparation for Mother's Day, the foundation each year focus on the problem of maternal mortality and sets the campaign "Save a mother's life on Mother's Day."

King Carl XVI Gustaf's Birthday.

Hooray! On April 30th, King Carl XVI Gustaf celebrated his 68th Birthday at the Royal Palace with the traditional public flag day, salute from Skeppsholmen and programs on the Outer Courtyard.

A couple of thousand people had gathered to celebrate the King's 68 th anniversary. The music during the celebration on the Outer Courtyard was played by the Navy Band, Army Band and the Band of the Life Guards.

After the celebration on the Outer Courtyard "Medi @ Boom" newspaper got an interview with the King. When the interview was done, the King showed the Bernadotte Library to the editors.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians in Norway.

Along with Queen Mathilde, King Philippe  presents the friendship visits to countries that are close to Belgium. They arrived in Oslo on April 29th directly from Stockholm, after an official visit to Sweden.

A visit to the Parliament was first on the agenda of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. The King and Queen were received by President of the Storting Olemic Thom Mass and were given a brief visit to White Hall before further talks with the President of the Storting.

After visits by parliamentary president and prime minister, the Belgian royal couple traveled to the Folk Museum in Bygdøy, where King Harald and Queen Sonja recieved them. About 80 children with Norwegian and Belgian flags also appeared in the courtyard to welcome.

After the official photography in the Bird Room, King Harald and Queen Sonja hosted a lunch at the Royal Palace in honor of the visit. In addition to the two royal couples, both Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Princess Astrid, Mrs Ferner were present.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians in Sweden.

On 29 April, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians were recieved by King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia at the Royal Palace in Stockholm as the Royal Couple visited Sweden for the first time since they became King and Queen.

Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Prince Carl Philip were present at the lunch, which was given at the Royal Palace. 
In the afternoon King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited Speaker Per Westerberg and Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. Then, they traveled to Norway.
Last time King Philippe was a guest at the royal palace was at Princess Estelle's baptism in 2012 -then as Crown Prince. Crown Princess Victoria is godmother to King Philippe and Queen Mathilde's youngest daughter, Princess Eléonore.
