King Carl XVI Gustaf at the Society and Defence national conference in Salen

On Sunday 12 January and Monday 13 January the King will be present at the Society and Defence national conference in Salen.

The National conference began on Sunday with Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt's speech Sweden in a globalized world. Then Finnish president Sauli Niinistö spoke about outside world and Finland's priorities.

The afternoon also included a discussion on Svensk future security: two perspectives with Göran Hägglund, leader Christian Democrats and Asa Romson, mouthpiece Green Party.
