King Carl XVI Gustaf welcomed the participants to this year's Global Child Forum, a day for all the world's children. One day, as the King hopes, will help the situation of children improve more rapidly. Including by today's forum will lead to inspiration, innovation and collaboration.

The Queen thanked all the dedication and idealism that was expressed during the day with a wish to children around the world will now see that we are working for their rights.
The day ended with a concert in the Royal Chapel and during the evening a reception was held at the Tessin Palace, where the Stockholm County Governor Chris Heister was host.
